Confederation of Indian Industry-Institute of Logistics & Anna University, Chennai, signs MoU for its 'Advanced Certification program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management' for working professionals.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a non-Government, not for profit, industry led and industry managed organization incorporated in the year 1895, works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes. CII Institute of Logistics (CII-IL) was established in 2004 by the Confederation of Indian Industry as a Center of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain to address the need of sharpening India Inc's competitive edge through better Logistics and Supply Chain practices. Anna University, Chennai established in 1978, offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and Allied sciences relevant to the current and future needs of the society. The MBA program in Anna University under the Department of Management studies (DoMS) was started in the year 1981. Ever since its inception, the Department of Management Studies, Anna University (DoMS, Anna University) has produced about 1000 capable, competent and committed professionals. The objective of this association is to jointly conduct the Executive Training & Development Program named 'Advanced Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management' and its related activities. The program duration is 1 year during the week ends, with special focus to Industrial visits, Guest lectures and training sessions with practical insights from the industry experts. CII-Institute of Logistics will be the Knowledge partner for this unique program and CII-IL & Anna University will be jointly conferring certification for the successful scholars of this program. This joint initiative will synergize the aspiration of a professional to further hone his/her skills in achieving excellence towards a Logistics & Supply Chain career.
